The Hauge Log Church
Constructed in 1852, the Hauge Log Church was the first Norwegian Lutheran Church built in western Wisconsin. It was used as the first school in the area until a permanent school house was built. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, the log structure, now clapboard-covered, still stands on its original site.
